Kate Hollowell
Kate Hollowell is a comedy director and performer whose work blends high-concept absurdity with sharp craft and fearless performance. She embraces the unexpected and builds worlds where sincerity and satire sit side by side, appealing to the absurdist in all of us.
Her short film “Say Hi After You Die” won the Short Film Jury Award for U.S. Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival, establishing her as a distinct voice in contemporary comedy with both cinematic confidence and emotional intelligence.
Alongside her filmmaking, Hollowell created and toured A Hero’s Journey, a musical comedy prank magic show that playfully dismantles performance tropes while fully committing to spectacle.
Since signing with Epoch Films, Hollowell has expanded her commercial work, bringing her unique performance-driven sensibility to brands and collaborators who value comedy that feels intelligent, surprising, and unmistakably hers.
