Filmawi is a London-based visual artist. His world - poetic, visual and intimate. Championing his culture and referencing his surroundings with a dreamlike execution. A former AMV creative, Filmawi chose to work on the agency side in order to further develop his craft for brands, He strives to make work that feels emotionally resonant, keeping the human quality of both his film and photography work at the core whilst also exploring poetic, magical realism. It is this grounding in reality which gives his work a soulful feeling.
